BIOGRAPHY
Canadian hall of fame wrestler Vivian Vachon (real name Diane Vachon) , is one of
wrestling's greats. Vivian was the sister of male wrestlers Maurice "Mad Dog" Vachon and Paul "The Butcher" Vachon. Vivian started wrestling as a teenager in the late 60s. By the 1970's Vivian was considered one of the best female wrestlers in the world. Vivian during her career wrestled in America, Japan, Australia and Canada and won the International Grand Prix title from Jean Antone. Vivian went on to star in the movie "The Wrestling Queen" in 1975. Vivian retired from wrestling in the 1978 after marrying fellow pro wrestler Buddy Wolfe to start a family ( she had a daughter Julie) Vivian returned to the ring in 1986 for Mad Dog Vachon's retirement tour. Vivian also made a comeback for JWP in Japan in the mid 1980's. Tragically Vivian lost her life on the 24th of August 1991 in an automotive incident with a drunk driver. Her daughter Julie was with her in the car. Vivian died in Montreal at the age of 40. Luna Vachon (WWF)
