LATEST GENERAL UPDATES: Arizona here I come, Rabbit Show win and Trixie Belden Book Series.
I attended my first rabbit show with Rumi in September and my girl won a first ribbon and a a 4 star certificate of Merit. If she wins another 4 stars in total any time in her showing life then she gets the word "Champion" before her name. There was also a representative there from a large pet shop that said if she has any babies they will buy them all. There are however no plans anytime soon for that, I do however have 2 more shows for this year we are looking to attend.

More excellent news! I am off to Arizona for a holiday in the very near future. I will also get to visit the original Disneyland Los Angeles, San Diego Zoo - Seaworld and Las Vegas, Grand Canyon - Hoover Dam.
In Arizona I will be travelling to Yuma, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Sedona and Williams. In celebration I have added the Trixie Belden series of books to the recommended books for children ( there are also many adult Trixie Belden fans and this year a number of them went to Niagara Falls for a Trixie Belden convention )
Trixie Belden is the title character in a series of children's books published between 1948 and 1986. Random House re-released the first 15 books starting in 2002. The series was created by author Julie Campbell who wrote the first 6 books. When Julie didn't want to write them anymore she inked an agreement to give Western Publishing the rights and herself royalties for the next 6 books. The series ended up consisting of 39 books written by various authors under the pseudonym Kathryn Kenny.

Trixie Belden and the Mystery in Arizona. Here you can se three different editions of the books. From left to right: 1960's Cameo hardcover, middle Random House 2003, Right 1950's Deluxe edition. The books have wonderful illustrations. I particularly love the 1950's deluxe editions.
Trixie the super sleuth in the "Mystery in Arizona" spends 2 weeks in Tucson, Arizona on a dude ranch. I won't be travelling to Tucson, the car will be taking a turn toward Phoenix instead.
Previous Update: June

1) I have a feature article that I wrote for an Australian magazine 'Collecting Bears & Dolls' in News agencies now! ( June edition.) It is referred to on the cover as 'Rare Beanie Kid Discoveries.' I have also been given another assignment by the magazine for a future issue. (Their next edition is October.)
2) We have found a lovely pedigree Dark sooty fawn to soon join our Mini Lop Ofune. She is a show bunny and will be debuting at a rabbit show in July. In keeping with naming all our animals after wrestlers our new rabbit going to be called Rumi.
In celebration I have added LLPW to the "Wrestling Promotions" section. LLPW was founded by Rumi Kazama.

Photo Above: Meet Rumi and Rumi Kazama.
Current Updates: LLPW added to women's wrestling promotions including bios on their top stars past and present.
ALSO More profiles on American legends like Oklahoma Cowgirl Paula Kaye thanks to Thayer coming soon.

In celebration I have added Kaientai Dojo Girls including The now retired wrestling Ofune to "Special Wrestling Features" section. Kaientai Dojo is one of the few promotions that have regularly allowed intergender matches and had females challenge for the major wrestling titles.

NEWS: Amy Action can be seen in the new documentary "Lovestruck: Wrestling's No. 1 Fan" currently doing the rounds of the film festivals in Australia about wrestling fan Sue Chuter. The film captures Amy attacking Melbourne face "Psycho Kid Thunder" in the ring. Footage is from Amy's Melbourne feuds in 1999 - 2000. The scenario below explains the situation:
Melbourne: In 1999 and 2000 Amy started traveling regularly to Melbourne, wrestling there as well as Sydney. Amy's first match in Melbourne was in front of 1100 people at the Metro Night club against Raya Riot. Amy was presented as a baby face who was cheated out of the win by referee Sherri Sinatra, who refused to count to three when Amy had Raya beaten. This was one of the few times when Amy worked the audience as a baby face. When Amy returned to Melbourne Amy joined Melbourne based wrestling group The Cult. In her Melbourne debut Amy firstly helped Ricky Diamond win his match against top Melbourne baby face Psycho Kid Thunder by throwing powder in his face after he'd already fought a barrage of attacks from various Cult members. The Cult were then able to hand Psycho a beating, the result saw Amy having to be escorted from the ring by security, due to the heat that it caused. In her first match in many against Sherri Sinatra later that night, Psycho rushed to the ring to seek his revenge on Amy with a "stunner", after Ricky Diamond put out Sherri with a "diamond cutter".
